In a Land Rover Defender, the fuse boxes are located in multiple areas. The first group is in the engine compartment, always on the passenger side, protected by plastic covers that you remove by releasing the clips; inside, there are two distinct boxes with fuses and main relays for the engine circuits, ignition, lights, and auxiliary systems. The second box is in the cabin, behind the dashboard panel or under the passenger side glove compartment; to access it, open the glove compartment and lower it to reach the internal fuse panel that contains the fuses for the onboard services. Finally, there is a panel in the trunk, on the right side behind the cargo area trim, which houses additional fuses for comfort circuits and rear power outlets.
