How to carry out the electric recharge on the Levc Tx

Model: LEVC Tx MK 1 - Years 2017-2024

The one operated by the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC), the British company controlled by the Chinese Geely since 2014, was truly a 'silent' revolution, capable of leading to the replacement of more than a third of the classic London Cabs with heat engines with the modern TX electrified model, sold in the British capital from 2018 to today in 5,000 units. The TX features a lightweight aluminum body and benefits from LEVC's eCity range extender powertrain. This revolutionary technology allows the taxi to travel thanks to its 31 kWh battery in all-electric mode for up to 100 km. As an alternative to the recharging options, TX offers unprecedented flexibility as it allows the use of the thermal unit to recharge the accumulator and obtain a total range of 510 km with a 99.5% cut in NOx emissions. To proceed with the electric recharging of the car, it is necessary to connect the plug in socket which is located in the front left part of the car to the column. Wait for the green light to start flashing which signals that charging has started and then we can check the charging status on the display of the charging station.
