Description of the LEVC TX

Model: LEVC Tx MK 1 - Years 2017-2024

The London Taxi Company has changed its name to London EV Company (LEVC), revamped its brand, and introduced the new electric taxi TX. The new "cab" London TX retains the appearance of classic London taxis while reinterpreting them in a modern way. Its lines are characterized by a large rectangular grille, circular LED daytime running lights, and a two-volume side design. The body is made of aluminum, the passenger doors open at 90 degrees, while the interior features digital instrumentation, Wi-Fi, and charging ports for electronic devices, as well as the usual large space for passenger comfort. The propulsion system, called eCity and developed by the company itself, is electric with extended range or range extender. This revolutionary technology allows the taxi to travel in fully electric mode for up to 62 mi on a 31 kWh battery. In addition to charging options, the TX offers unprecedented flexibility as it allows the use of the thermal unit to recharge the battery, achieving a total range of 317 mi with a 99.5% reduction in NOx emissions.
