In our Lexus, it may happen that the fuel door gets stuck, for example due to a malfunction in the lock or the related control button. In these cases, it is still possible to perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial, valid for most models. First, we open the trunk door, then we locate the small door or cap on the wall of the compartment, right behind the fuel door, and open it. We then grab the lock actuator and manually operate it, in order to open the fuel door and refuel.
