Instructions for Painting Brake Calipers

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Accessory kit

If you want to give your car a sportier look, painting the brake calipers is certainly effective, generally opting for red or yellow, like high-performance cars. To carry out this painting, it is essential to clean the caliper and use a specific paint designed for the high temperatures to which the caliper is subjected. Proceed by placing the vehicle on suitable axle stands and removing the wheel; ideally, you would also remove the caliper and its bracket to clean and paint perfectly, but this would require bleeding the system afterwards. You can also proceed by thoroughly cleaning the caliper, masking the areas not to be painted with masking tape, and finally painting with a small brush to avoid smudging and to be as precise as possible.

How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter in a 2008 Volkswagen Fox

The operation of replacing the cabin pollen filter in the Volkswagen Fox takes about fifteen minutes. First, locate the filter housing inside the cabin. In this case, it is situated on the passenger side, beneath the glove compartment (as indicated by the red arrow in the images). Specifically, the air filter housing is positioned on the left side. Once located, open the cover by sliding the two rings found on the cover itself from the outside to the inside (see images) and remove it. At this point, pull down the filter housing and extract the air filter from its housing. This operation should be performed every 9,000 miles or at least once a year.
