To replace the remote control battery on the Lexus IS 300, unscrew the small screw located immediately beneath the key. Once this screw is loosened, pry open the groove that separates the two halves of the remote control to access and remove the battery inside. After removing the old battery, insert the new one into its slot, and then close the remote control. Once the screw is inserted, check that the device functions correctly.
