Instructions for Polishing Bodywork

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Body

If the bodywork has halos from a previous polish and marks from car wash brushes, a professional polish should be performed using the appropriate products and equipment. Start with a thorough wash of the bodywork, drying it completely (blow compressed air into the headlight, handle, and seal areas to remove all water). Park the vehicle in the shade and begin polishing the bodywork with a suitable abrasive wax using an orbital polisher rather than a rotary one. Then, remove the abrasive paste with a microfibre cloth and apply a finishing wax by hand, removing any excess with a soft, dry cloth.
