Removing the Lexus 300 Door Handle

Want to replace the door handle on your Lexus? Here’s how to remove the handle from inside the door. First, remove the door cover panel before taking off the external handle. Insert a metal key into the slot on the door (side panel), and use a plastic lever to remove the handle cover. Unscrew the securing screws from inside the door, then remove the lock from the door, and pull the handle out from the car's body, comparing it with the new handle. Insert the new handle with the lock and its cover into the door, screw in the securing screws, and reattach the cover panel.
