Installing Mirror Caps with Indicators

You can purchase both online and aftermarket mirror caps for external rear-view mirrors equipped with indicators: the installation will require not only securing the caps but also making electrical connections, which is the most laborious part as it will also require removing the door panel; start by detaching the mirror from the external rear-view mirror, then unscrew the fixing screws of the cap and remove it; then proceed to remove the door panel (after reassembling the window switch, press and hold the buttons for both opening and closing to restore automatic functions) to also remove the mirror support and pass the wiring for the new indicators; then pass the cables inside the panel and through the sheath to enter the cabin and connect them to the indicator power wires; finally, proceed in reverse to reassemble everything, applying the new caps with indicators.
