How do you replace the handles of the LML Star?

The replacement of the LML Star handles is done by heating the handles themselves, which are installed on the handlebar, using a hairdryer or another source of heat. Once they have been heated, they will expand slightly, making it easier to remove them from their housing. Once the old handles have been removed from their seat, it will be possible to insert the new ones at the ends of the handlebar, pushing them all the way in. After the new handles have been inserted, it will be possible to check that everything is working correctly.

How do you replace the instrument cluster on the BMW R 1200 GS?

In order to replace the instrument panel of the BMW R 1200 GS you have to unscrew the screws that secure the windshield, removing it completely; at this point, the three seeger rings that secure the instrument panel to the frame must be removed. At this point it will be possible to remove the instrument panel from inside its housing by disconnecting the connector at the rear. At this point it will be possible to unscrew the screws that secure the rear part of the instrumentation, removing the old dials and the display. In this way it will be possible to insert the new ones, reinstalling all the instruments.
