To replace the transmission on the Malaguti Phantom F12 125, loosen the screws securing the cover panel of the transmission case near the rear wheel. Once the cover is removed, you will be able to access the underlying components. The variator and clutch must be freed from their respective mounting screws, allowing the belt around them to be removed for positioning all new components. The new parts can now be repositioned and secured with screws, covering everything with the cover.
