To replace the catalytic converter on a Maruti 800, lift the car to access the components underneath: here you will locate the entire exhaust system and the corresponding catalytic converter. You will need to loosen the bolts that secure the exhaust to the exhaust manifold and those that attach it to the supports at the rear. This will allow you to remove the entire exhaust system and the corresponding catalytic converter, which can now be replaced with a new one: after replacement, reattach the exhaust system using the appropriate bolts.
