How to Reset the Service Light on an LDV T60

Maxus and LDV are two sides of the same coin: LDV (Leyland DAF Vans) was a British brand of commercial vehicles. In 2009, the Chinese group SAIC Motor (which also owns MG) acquired LDV and began producing the same models under the Maxus brand for the global market. In some countries, like the United Kingdom, the name LDV survived for a while, but today almost all vehicles are sold as Maxus. In summary: same platform, same engines, same DNA. The only difference is the name. To reset the oil change light on the LDV T60, the procedure is simple but requires timing. Turn on the ignition (without starting the engine). Press the button on the dashboard until the message "Service due" or "Service reset" appears. At this point, quickly press the button three times in a row (1-2-3). The system will perform the reset and the display will show the new maintenance interval (e.g., 7,300 mi). Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to verify. The light will be off.
