How do you program the key for the Mazda 6?

To program the key of the Mazda 6, you need to insert it into the ignition switch: while it is inserted, you must connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle. This port is located on the dashboard just below the steering column: once the scanner is connected, you can select the model of the car and its version. By doing this, you can disconnect the scanner from the port, so that you can verify that the key works correctly.
