This tutorial explains the procedure for programming the replacement key of a Mazda Speed 3. Insert one of the pre-programmed transponder keys and turn the panel one position; leave it on for at least one second (you will have to wait until the red key symbol in the instrument panel goes out). Now remove the key from the lock. Let a few seconds pass and insert the second pre-programmed key and turn the panel one click for at least one second, but not more than 5 seconds (use the key symbol for this too) then remove the second key. Within 10 seconds insert the new ignition key and always turn the ignition by one click. This way the second key will be reprogrammed.
