Cabin Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mazda 3 MK 2, BL - Years 2009-2013
Part: Cabin air filter

It is very important to change the cabin air filter as it protects us from external agents and allows the car's ventilation duct to breathe better. It is essential to replace it at regular intervals as it preserves the health of the driver and prevents dangerous fogging inside the car. It is advisable to replace it once a year or every 6,200 miles. Replacing it is a fairly simple task that can be done in about fifteen minutes. Once its position inside the car is identified, you can proceed with the replacement. The airflow must follow the direction of the filter's installation.

How to Remove the Armrest on the Centre Tunnel of a Volkswagen Golf

Let’s see how to remove the armrest on the centre tunnel of a Volkswagen Golf. Unscrew the securing screws (located inside the cup holder) with a screwdriver; use a plastic lever to pry off the cover at the rear of the centre tunnel (air vents). After removing the plastic cover, unscrew the securing bolts in the centre armrest using a socket wrench. Once this is done, pull off the tunnel and disconnect any power cables. Finally, insert the new part into the centre tunnel, and reassemble all components of the glove compartment as previously disassembled.
