How to Clean the Turbo Valve on Mazda CX-9

As explained in the video, using degreasers to clean the turbo valve and pipe can be a good DIY method compared to disassembling the engine. You need to disconnect the pipe from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. This sensor determines the amount of air that passes through the engine air filter before being directed into the manifold. It is crucial to know the exact amount of air flowing to meter the fuel correctly. Insert the straw into the intake pipe and follow the instructions on the can. It usually instructs you to spray the fluid while the engine is running at 2,000 RPM. In about 5 minutes, you will use up the can and have cleaned your turbo valve.
