How to Replace the Key Fob Battery of the Mazda 3

Model: Mazda 3 BL, MK 2 - Years 2009-2013

First, push the tab on the back to unlock the extraction of the metal key inside the remote. Use a screwdriver to lever on the two recessed edges to initially separate the two parts of the key. Now, use a card to continue separating them until you can completely remove the rear panel. You can now remove the battery cover and replace it with a new one. Finally, retrace your steps to reassemble the various pieces.
