In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the parking brake shoes on a Mercedes E-Class. This is a simple operation but requires good manual skills.

First, lift the rear side of the vehicle. Then, remove the wheel, disconnect the sensor, and take off the brake caliper by unscrewing all the indicated bolts.

Next, remove the brake rotor, unclip both indicated springs using a long pair of pliers, and proceed to remove all the various components of the shoes. At this point, clean any dirt residue, position the new parts, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
