How do you adjust the handbrake of the Mercedes E-Class?

In order to adjust the handbrake of the Mercedes E-Class, you need to lift the car by placing the jack under the left rear wheel: the wheel must be removed from its housing by loosening the bolts that secure it and accessing the disc at the rear. The disc can now be removed in order to locate the bolt that adjusts the handbrake intensity: by tightening this bolt, the handbrake can be made firmer. Once the adjustment is complete, all the parts that were removed must be reassembled.
