How to Replace the Remote Control Battery of a Mercedes

Once you are certain that the remote control battery is no longer valid for locking and unlocking your vehicle, you will need to use the emergency metal key. To replace the battery, extract the emergency key and apply a lever between the two edges of the key to extract the slot where the battery is housed. Once the slot is removed, remember the orientation of the battery, then extract it for replacement. Reverse the steps described for reassembling the various components.
