How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes SLK?

Model: Mercedes Slk MK 2, R171 - Years 2004-2011

The Service indicator of the Mercedes SLK can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, inserting the key into the ignition switch: once the ignition is on, you can press the button located on the left side of the panel until a menu is displayed. Inside, you will need to scroll with the directional buttons on the steering wheel spokes: you will need to select the "Confirmation" and then "Full service" options. This way, the indicator will be reset and you can then turn off the instrument panel.
