How do you reset the Service light of the Mercedes SLK?

Model: Mercedes Slk MK 2, R171 - Years 2004-2011

To make the Service light disappear completely from the instrument panel of the Mercedes SLK, you will need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the ignition key: then you will need to move inside the menu that will be shown on the instrument panel using the arrows located on the left side of the steering wheel. You will then need to select the "Service menu" option, then "Confirmation" and finally "Full service". To complete the reset of the Service light, you will need to hold down the button located at the bottom left of the left side of the steering wheel: when the confirmation message is displayed, you can release the button and finally turn off the instrument panel.
