How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes SLK?

Model: Mercedes Slk MK 2, R171 - Years 2004-2011

You can clear the Service light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Mercedes SLK by turning on the ignition and turning the appropriate key. Then, navigate through the menu shown on the instrument cluster using the arrows on the left side of the steering wheel. Now select the "Service menu" option, then "Confirmation", and finally "Full service". To confirm that the Service light reset has been performed, press and hold the button located at the bottom left of the left steering wheel spoke: when the confirmation message appears, you can release the button and then turn off the ignition.
