How to Reset the Service Light on the Mercedes SLK?

Model: Mercedes Slk MK 2, R171 - Years 2004-2011

To reset the Service light on the Mercedes SLK, turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once it is on, press and hold the button located on the left side of the dashboard until a menu appears. Scroll through the menu using the directional buttons on the steering wheel spokes: select "Confirmation" and then "Full service". This will reset the light, and you can then turn off the dashboard.
