You can completely remove the Service indicator from the instrument panel of the Mercedes C-Class by navigating through the menu that appears on the instrument panel using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. When you find the option with the remaining kilometers until the next maintenance, you will need to hold down the buttons at the bottom on the left side of the steering wheel and the one at the top on the right side.

In this way, the Service indicator will be reset completely and you can turn off the instrument panel by turning the key. You can also verify that the reset has been done correctly by turning on the instrument panel afterwards.
