Disassembling the steering wheel of a Mercedes C-Class model W204 is a fairly simple and quick operation to perform independently. To carry out this operation we must: - get on board the vehicle; - unscrew the side screws of the steering wheel, using a Torx key of 30 mm; - remove the central body of the steering wheel; - disconnect the airbag connector; - unscrew the central nut of the steering wheel, using a torque wrench with a 10 INBUS; - remove the steering wheel; The assembly of the new steering wheel follows the reverse procedure. Throughout the operation, it is advisable to disconnect the battery to prevent the airbag from deploying.
