How to Replace the Battery in a Mercedes C-Class

To replace the battery in a Mercedes C-Class, open the hood and locate the battery on the right side of the engine compartment. Disconnect the negative terminal first using a 10 mm wrench, then disconnect the positive terminal. Remove the mounting bracket at the base of the battery and lift the battery out of the housing. Insert the new battery with the same terminal orientation, secure the mounting bracket, and reconnect the terminals, positive first, negative last, tightening them well. Check for any movement and ensure the cables are secure, then close the hood and start the engine to verify the proper functioning of the electronic systems.
