How to put a Mercedes automatic transmission in neutral

If we need to put our Mercedes vehicle in neutral for towing, diagnostic tests, or other reasons, and want to do it safely, this is the appropriate video. It is aimed at automatic transmissions with seven and nine speeds, produced after 2005. So we turn on the ignition, press the gear selector down to enter gear, then push forward once and we are in Neutral, which allows us to push the car if necessary. Remember that in this case, without pressing the brakes, the vehicle will start moving by rolling. If we turn off the engine, the car automatically goes into "park", but if we need to put the car in neutral when it is off, we must disconnect the auxiliary battery, which controls the car's gears; sometimes it may not be enough and the negative pole of the main battery must also be disconnected: but first remember to put the car in "neutral".
