The new generation Mercedes vehicles are equipped with the Star&Stop system which allows for the reduction of CO2 emissions. To deactivate the system, we must start the engine and press the "Start&Stop" button. To reactivate the system, we must press the same button. Mercedes vehicles also come with automatic transmission. To activate the automatic transmission, we must start the car and press the button located on the right lever of the steering wheel. To use the automatic transmission, we must move the lever downwards. To engage reverse gear, we must move the lever upwards. Moving the lever to the central position will result in neutral.
