How and when to reset the service light on the Mercedes S-Class

Today we will explain how to reset the service light related to the car service. The service light comes on when it is necessary to proceed with the regular maintenance of the vehicle. The service includes replacing the fluids inside the vehicle or topping them up, as well as replacing filters and checking the timing belt and engine. After that, it is necessary to proceed with resetting the light which will update the kilometers until the next service. To perform this operation on a 2010 Mercedes S-Class vehicle, we need to turn on the instrument panel and immediately press the "Trip A" button to access the kilometers. Then, we press the answer call and ok buttons simultaneously to access the service menu. From the service menu, we select the options "assist plus", "full service", and "reset"; after completing all the steps, we return to the main menu and restart the vehicle to complete the reset.
