How to disassemble the immobilizer block of the Mercedes SL

Model: Mercedes Sl MK 5, R129 - Years 1989-2001

Today we will discover the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the immobilizer block of the Mercedes SL. First, we open the front door on the driver's side and start removing the plastic cover found under the steering wheel; then we disconnect the immobilizer control unit from the cables and fuse box, and unscrew the fixing screws to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we carry out the repair or directly replace the immobilizer control unit, installing a new one if necessary, and then reassemble everything!
