How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes E-Class?

Model: Mercedes Classe E W212 - Years 2009-2016

To completely turn off the Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Mercedes E-Class, you will need to turn on the instrument panel and then navigate to the menu using the directional arrows on the steering wheel controls. Now you will need to select the icon with the wrench and then choose the "ASSYST PLUS" option. The option to select now will be "FULL SERVICE", and moving forward you will need to select the oil grade based on the one used for the replacement. This will bring up a screen asking whether to confirm the reset: by selecting "Yes" the Service light will turn off.
