Today we will explain how to reset the tire pressure monitoring system on a 2012 Mercedes E-Class vehicle. After adjusting the tire pressure, we perform the reset; turn on the instrument panel and press the OK button to access the vehicle settings. Press the arrow button to display the various menu items and select the "TPMS calibration" option. Hold down the OK button to update the tire pressure. Once the update is complete, restart the instrument panel to save the operation just performed. If the tire pressure warning light still appears on the instrument panel when starting the vehicle, it will be necessary to check the tire sensors. Malfunctioning sensors prevent the vehicle from resetting the warning light.
