Removal of Interior Rearview Mirror and Cabin Light Fixture

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Rearview mirror

First, detach the rain sensor cover, which is located around the rearview mirror, and then carefully pull the mirror itself to disengage it from its mount.
At this point, using a plastic spatula, detach the light fixture along the edges and remove it from its housing, being careful not to pull it too far to avoid damaging the wiring of the connected connectors, which will need to be disconnected to completely remove it (also pay attention to the cable securing clips present).
