How to Remove the Interior Rearview Mirror

Removing the interior rearview mirror from the Mercedes E-Class is relatively simple. Just grab it with both hands and pull down, but do so carefully as the electrical wires for the lights are attached. Next, use a flat tool, such as a small knife, to detach the overhead light and the upper switch panel. Finally, remove the screws that hold the cover for the additional components above. The video is very clear, but as often happens, if you're not a bit handy, you might end up halfway through the disassembly!
