How to replace the rear trim panels of a Mercedes SLK

In this video we see that the youtuber's Mercedes SLK shows the external rear panels damaged by sun exposure. Since we were unable to find replacement panels as the creator of the video did, we direct you to an even more practical and economical solution: covering them with adhesive overlays in carbon style. We find the kit on Amazon with the code B0C9DL3Z42 for the price of 26.99 euros, free delivery in 7 days for Prime customers. We will then need microfiber cloths, a bottle of isopropyl alcohol, a hair dryer, a plastic tool, and paper tape. Wash and dry the car perfectly; work in a clean environment; clean the original black panels thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol; place the panel covers and make sure they cover all edges perfectly (without removing the adhesive protection!); use the paper tape to attach it to the body from the other side and then peel off a few centimeters of protection at a time; align the panel cover little by little, following the contour of the surface. With the plastic tool, press out any air bubbles from the center towards the outside. If you encounter resistance, or the adhesive does not adhere well to the curves, use the hair dryer. When everything is laid out, run the spatula over the entire adhesive, paying particular attention to the edges.
