How to remove the rear seat of the Mercedes Vito

In this video, we will see how to remove the rear bench seat of a Mercedes Vito: first, we fold down the backrest using the outer levers, then pull the release handles located under each individual seat, and tilt the seat bench upwards. Next, move the seat to the desired position using the support handles, then open the release handles upwards, making sure that the guides do not get stuck between the locking points, as this could cause deformation of the guides. This could pose a problem during reinstallation. However, there is a special tool provided by Mercedes that can realign the sliding guides, allowing for easy reinstallation of the seats. To perform this operation, grab the seats by the rear handles and insert the front seat anchors diagonally, then tilt it backward so that it locks into place; finally, raise the backrest.
