How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes A-Class?

Model: Mercedes Classe A W168 - Years 1997-2004

You can reset the Service light on a Mercedes A-Class by pressing and holding the 000.0 button located on the left side of the instrument cluster while it is off: continue holding the button and insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to the on position. Once activated, continue holding the button until the light disappears; when it has been reset, you can release the button to complete the operation and then turn off the ignition.
