How to Reset the Air Conditioning on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

The air conditioning on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class can be completely reset by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding ignition switch, turning it to activate the instrument cluster. When the cluster is activated, press and hold the defrost button and the recirculation button. After holding these buttons for a few seconds, you will notice that the lights on these buttons will start flashing: you can then release the buttons, and the reset will be complete when the lights become stable.
