To remove the climate control buttons from a Mercedes C-Class, detach the plastic cover from the front of the center console, which surrounds the gear shift lever. Next, remove the glove compartment located below the climate control buttons so that the mounting screws for this panel are visible: these screws must be loosened, and the connector at the back must be disconnected, completely removing the panel.

After removal, connect the new panel by securing it and reinstalling the components removed earlier.
