Welcome to this article where you will learn how to reset the service light on a Mercedes SLK R172. To reset the light, first turn the ignition to position 1. Then, press and hold the OK button and the phone button for about 3 seconds. At this point, the menu will appear; scroll down using the arrow until you reach the ASSYST PLUS option, confirm by pressing the OK button. Turn the key to position 2 to activate ASSYST PLUS, then select the full service option, followed by confirming the full service and then confirming the type of oil used, and confirm again. The reset will then occur, so restart the ignition to verify that the procedure has been completed correctly.
