How to Replace the Shock Absorber on a Mercedes E-Class

Let's see how to remove the rear shock absorber on a Mercedes E-Class? The first step is to loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the rear wheel. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber to the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolt located in the trunk (top of the shock absorber), and pull the shock absorber out of its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Install the new shock absorber on the car by reversing the steps.
