Front Shock Absorber Replacement

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

First, after positioning the car on a lift or jack stands, loosen the bolt that secures the shock absorber to the hub, which is the lower end of the shock absorber. Now compress the shock absorber using a jack and also loosen the nut located at the top. Finish unscrewing it with wrenches and pliers. Once this is done, use a punch to remove the bolt that held the shock absorber to the hub, and now you will be able to pull the entire shock absorber downwards. Follow the instructions in reverse to install the new shock absorber.
