You can replace the cabin filter on a Mercedes B-Class by opening the bonnet to access the upper part of the engine compartment: immediately below the windscreen on the driver's side, you will find a panel to remove to access the cabin filter underneath.

Once the filter has been removed, you can insert the new one and cover it with the panel; this way, you can close the bonnet once the replacement procedure is complete.
