How to Remove the Driver's Side Dashboard

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

This short video shows how to remove some parts of the driver's side dashboard of a Mercedes W210. After loosening the screws that hold the panel under the steering wheel, use pliers to disconnect the hood release handle from the cable. Now, using a plastic trim tool, remove the panel and disconnect the connector attached to it. Also, pull out the brightness adjustment by pushing it outward. Now, unscrew the two screws that hold the vent trim and turn signal switch and remove it. After loosening the side screw of the dashboard, pull out the entire turn signal switch assembly; as the last step, disconnect its connector.
