Let's see how to open the hood on a Mercedes C-Class. Open the driver’s door and pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard. Then, lift the hood slightly and move the release lever to the left. Once the hood is released, lift it up and secure it with the provided prop rod. Now that the hood is open, you can perform your necessary maintenance. To close the hood: remove the prop rod and let the hood fall down from a minimal height. Ensure it is properly closed.
