How to Remove the External Rearview Mirror of the Mercedes C-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

To remove the external rearview mirror of the Mercedes C-Class model W203, first remove the glass. Tilt the mirror forward and gently press down on the bracket to slide the mirror inward and remove it. Disconnect the connector using a flathead screwdriver. To remove the mirror cap, release the clip using a long slotted screwdriver. Using a star screwdriver, unscrew all the screws that secure the mirror bracket to the door and pull the mirror out, being careful not to damage the connectors that must be disconnected by opening the door and removing the protective panel. To install the new mirror, follow the reverse procedure.
