How to Replace the Interior Rearview Mirror of the Mercedes Benz C220

This guide shows how to remove the interior rearview mirror of the Mercedes Benz C220 (W203). The operation does not require specific tools, just some force. Grasp the mirror at the base and shake it vigorously to release the two locking pins from their housing; rotate it left and right while simultaneously pushing it forward and backward. Once the mirror is detached, disconnect the electrical wires after removing the overhead light. To reinstall the mirror, position it and apply force until the locking pins snap back into place. If the mirror separates from the base, apply significant force to reposition the piece.
