How to Reset the Service Light on the Mercedes C-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

On the Mercedes C-Class W203, the maintenance warning is reset directly from the display of the cluster by accessing the Service/ASSYST section using the steering wheel controls. With the vehicle stationary and the engine off, turn the ignition to ON, scroll to the service menu, select the reset of the interval, and confirm when prompted. When finished, the counters are reset, and the warning no longer appears on the main screen. On some configurations, the "R" button is also available on the cluster: with the cluster on, a prolonged press allows you to access the reset function and confirm the procedure. Finally, return to the Service/ASSYST area and verify that the new deadline is updated.
